Manchester United have received a huge transfer boost as Harry Kane rejects a move to Bayern Munich, according to a report.
It has been widely reported that Erik ten Hag desperately wants a centre forward in the coming transfer window, with Kane, who netted 30 Premier League goals this season, the Dutchman’s ideal candidate.
United are seeking to bolster their squad, having secured a return to Champions League football after a third-place Premier League finish.

Indeed, in all competitions, Anthony Martial scored just nine times in a campaign plagued by injury, while the on-loan Wout Weghorst managed just two goals, none of which came in the Premier League.
While Kane only has a year left on his Tottenham Hotspur contract, it remains to be seen whether chairman Daniel Levy would sanction a sale to a Premier League rival.
Yet, United’s hopes of acquiring the player may have been given a huge boost, with Bayern Munich having allegedly pulled out of a deal for the player.

Given the Bundesliga giants’ transfer expenditure this term, the club reportedly did not want to bid for the England captain in the coming transfer window. However, Bayern were allegedly hoping to land Kane for free upon the expiry of his Tottenham deal next year.
Yet, the Sun claim Kane is determined to move to United, whether that be this summer or next.
Indeed, Spurs are reportedly reluctant to sell their record scorer to a Premier League rival. Nevertheless, should Levy want to receive the touted £100million transfer fee for Kane he may have to sanction a move to United.
The Old Trafford club’s football director, John Murtough, is also exploring alternatives to Kane, with United having allegedly spoken to Atalanta and Eintracht Frankfurt several times over Rasmus Hojlund and Randal Kolo Muani (The Athletic).
