Erling Haaland Gave Dortmund Players And Coaches A Personalised Rolex Watch Each As A Goodbye Gift

Borussia Dortmund players and coaches received a goodbye gift from Erling Haaland.

​Erling Haaland gave 33 Borussia Dortmund players and 20 staff members a personalised Rolex as a farewell gift in a classy gesture. 

Haaland is set to join Manchester City this summer having spent the last two and a half seasons at Dortmund. 

He scored on his final appearance for the club as he bid an emotional farewell to the Dortmund faithful last weekend

The 21-year-old walked over to the famous 'Yellow Wall' at Signal Iduna Park to express his thanks for their support.

He's also thanked his teammates and coaches by gifting them with luxury watches worth £11,000 - £13,000, according to German outlet Bild

Over 20 other employees at the club - such as physiotherapists, chefs and counselors - are said to have each received their own Omega watch, worth £6,000 - £8,000.  ​

In total, his parting gift cost just under half a million pounds.

Haaland will be one of the top earners at Man City. He's reportedly set to earn £300,000-a-week, which will put him in the same bracket as the club's highest earners.

After Man City confirmed the signing of Haaland, Pep Guardiola congratulated the club on the impressive capture of the superstar forward. ​

"Congratulations to the club to take an important player, a young player. We're going to help him to settle good with the team, and he'll try to help us have success," he said. 

The Norwegian phenom ​leaves Dortmund having scored an impressive 86 goals in 89 appearances in all competitions.
