Germany are in talks with an English youngster over switching his international allegiance, with the player's brother already making the national change.
Gareth Southgate could have another Jamal Musiala case on his hands, with the DFB looking to secure an exciting English talent.
Sport Bild via @iMiaSanMia claim the German board are in discussions with Felix Nmecha, brother of Lukas, to switch his international allegiance.
They're hoping Felix will represent Germany at under-21 level in March in view to becoming a senior national star.
What's more, the 21-year-old wants to play for Germany and pursue a similar career to his brother.
The midfielder plied his trade at Manchester City before securing a move to Wolfsburg in 2021.
Just like Lukas, who also played for Man City before eventually moving to Wolfsburg.
Felix, meanwhile, has appeared for England and Germany at youth level, playing for the Three Lions' under-16, 18 and 19 teams.
He also represented Germany at under-18 level.
As for Lukas, he represented England at under-16, 17, 18, 19, 20 and 21 levels before turning out for the Germany under-21s.
From there, the forward made his full Germany debut against Liechtenstein in 2021.
Hansi Flick will be hoping he can call upon Felix's services as well heading into the 2022 World Cup.
Southgate appears to be in a losing battle over Felix, with the 51-year-old in line to lose another English starlet to the Germans.
