Manchester United legend Gary Neville has revealed the 'right-back curse' at Old Trafford after Aaron Wan-Bissaka missed a golden opportunity to get on the scoresheet against Everton.
Erik ten Hag's side were able to secure a 2-0 victory against Sean Dyche's men but the United boss was left frustrated at times with the finishing from his players throughout the fixture.
England shot-stopper Jordan Pickford was forced into making a total of nine saves on the afternoon, as he consistently denied the likes of Marcus Rashford, Antony and Marcel Sabitzer. As well as the goalkeeper, United also had themselves to blame as they saw ten chances fly wide of the target at home.
One of the more notable chances that was dragged wide of the mark arrived from defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka. After an ambitious effort from Antony cannoned off the post, the ball fell to the former Crystal Palace man but sadly for the home crowd, he failed to guide the ball into a fairly open net. An attempt which was met by a number of groans from the United faithful.

Which then prompted the following reaction from former United defender Gary Neville, who scored just five goals across his eleven seasons at the club:
Despite the missed effort from the defender, United went on to secure all three points and move into third place within the Premier League rankings. Opening up a key three point gap on fellow Champions League chasers Newcastle United.
