Ryan Reynolds has made Gareth Bale an offer to come out of retirement and play for Wrexham for a season.
Former England and Manchester United goalkeeper Ben Foster recently returned to football to play seven games and help Wrexham secure a historic promotion to the Football League on Saturday.
Meanwhile, former Wales and Reading star Hal Robson-Kanu has put forward a proposal to Deadpool star Reynolds and claims he will play for free next season in League Two.
But Reynolds and co-owner Rob McElhenney are aiming bigger than that, with the Hollywood pair trying their best to tempt Gareth Bale out of retirement.

In response, McElhenney invited the 33-year-old for a round of golf - where the whole purpose of the activity definitely isn't to try and tempt him into turning out for the Dragons.
He wrote: "Hey Gareth Bale, let’s play golf, where I totally won’t spend 4 hours trying to convince you to un-retire for one last magical season."

Bale replied, saying, "Depends what course" and tagging the official Twitter account of the R&A course in St Andrews.
And now Reynolds has got involved, making quite the proposition to the former Spurs attacker.

He commented: "I will shave a professional-grade golf course into Rob’s back if you’ll give Wrexham a season."
However, in a second tweet, he did admit that it might be a little tricky to produce the body hair artwork so it could be back to the drawing board.

In a 17-year career, Bale claimed five Champions Leagues and three La Liga titles with Real after a then-world-record £85.3 million move in 2013.
The two-time PFA Player of the Year captained his country in the European Championships and World Cup, his final appearance coming against England on 29 November.
His last club game saw him score a dramatic extra-time winner for LAFC, who went on to win the MLS cup on penalties.
