Gareth Bale has revealed that Cristiano Ronaldo used to throw a tantrum if Real Madrid won 5-0 but he didn’t score.
Ronaldo is one of the best players to ever grace a football pitch having been a major success at every club he has been at.
During his illustrious career, the Portuguese legend has played for the likes of Manchester United, Juventus, Sporting Lisbon and Madrid.
His former teammate at Madrid, Bale, has revealed how the five-time Ballon d’Or winner used to get angry if he didn’t score during a big win.

When asked what playing with Ronaldo was like, Bale said: “He was actually okay. He had his moments where for example, if we win five nil and he didn’t score, he comes in and throws his boots like he was angry.
“It’s like your team winning the Ryder Cup and you didn’t get a point so you are angry.”
Bale continued: “He was a nice guy, we didn’t really have any problems, and he has a good mentality.”
The former Wales international was then asked if Ronaldo thanked the team when he won his Ballon d’Or.

Bale simply replied: “I think he did.”
Fans were quick to react on social media.
One said: “Ronaldo has an elite mentality you cannot fault it.”
Another tweeted: “We always said that he only cares for his own records and it was quite evident by his behaviours on the field whenever his teammates scored he would clearly look upset, No wonder his Madrid teammates don't rate that.”

A third fan added: “Bale is spot on, I noticed how Ronaldo smiles when he scores 1 or 2 goals even tho his team lost the game. He's never a team player.”
Previously, he was asked about his relationship with Ronaldo during another interview, Bale said: “Cristiano is an incredible player, I thoroughly enjoyed playing with him. Obviously, the media try and hype up these problems which were never there. We got on really well.

“He's an incredible player and what he did for the club with the amount of goals he scored. An incredible player and he is still going now. I just remember my unveiling at the stadium, and there were about 40,000 to 50,000 people there and I was just like 'Oh my god.’”
