Burnley manager Vincent Kompany is among several managers to have had his real face 'removed' as part of a new EA FC 24 update.
The first game in the new EA FC franchise has yet to be fully released, with the game currently in its early access stage.
Those who bought the Ultimate Edition have been able to play since last Friday - a week before the official release - while EA Play subscribers have been handed a 10-hour trial.

As a result, gamers have been able to test some of the new features, with EA making small tweaks to the game as release day approaches.
One change introduced for FIFA 23 was the introduction of 'real managers' in career mode. While real manager faces have been in the game for many years, gamers were previously only able to design their own manager for use in manager and player career.
When the feature was launched, a number of high-profile Premier League managers had their faces scanned either at the beginning or partway through the ongoing season.

Those included Erik ten Hag, with the Manchester United manager also losing his face ahead of EA FC 24.
But another real face casualty has been Burnley boss Kompany, with the Belgian being replaced by a generic in-game face.
Also removed is former Everton and current Celta Vigo boss Rafael Benitez, who doesn't exactly bear a resemblance to his real face either.

Kompany's exclusion appears odd given that he will appear in this year's Ultimate Team as a playable Hero card.
It is unclear as to whether his face will be updated before being re-added to career mode, as has happened on numerous occasions in the past.
As for Ten Hag, he has been pictured without a face in EA FC 24 career mode.
The Dutchman began FIFA 23 with a generic face given his late appointment as United boss prior to the game release, but was fully licensed midway through the game cycle.

Fortunately for Premier League fans, though, a number of managers still have their real faces in-game.
They include Arsenal's Mikel Arteta, Manchester City's Pep Guardiola, Newcastle's Eddie Howe and Aston Villa's Unai Emery.
But the likes of Roberto De Zerbi, Ange Postecoglou, and now Kompany and Ten Hag, are still awaiting their real faces ahead of EA FC 24.
