Gabriel Jesus revealed he had doubts over a move to Arsenal before speaking to two key members of the club hierarchy.
Arsenal travel to Liverpool on Sunday afternoon hoping to reclaim an eight-point lead at the Premier League summit over nearest challengers Manchester City.
Despite Liverpool’s topsy-turvy form, they have lost just once at home in the Premier League all season, while Arsenal have not won at Anfield since 2012.

In turn, it is arguably the toughest test of Mikel Arteta’s side’s title credentials.
Should they win they would be just eight games from claiming their first Premier League title since 2004. Should they lose, the momentum in the title race will swing in City’s favour.
And Jesus will likely be central to Arsenal’s fortunes this afternoon. Should the Brazilian repeat last week’s heroics, when he scored a brace against Leeds, it would send Arsenal fans and headline writers across the football world into dreamland.
However, the 26-year-old revealed he initially had doubts about signing for Arsenal.
