Gabriel Jesus' first Premier League goal for Arsenal is a thing of beauty

The Brazilian bagged another 10 minutes later.

Gabriel Jesus has opened his Premier League account for Arsenal with a wonderfully-weighted chip over Leicester City goalkeeper Danny Ward.

The Brazilian forward, who joined the Gunners on a long-term deal in July, will reportedly earn in excess of £190,000-a-week in North London following his move from Manchester City.

And let's be clear; if he keeps on scoring goals like this, the 25-year-old will be worth every penny.

Jesus wasn't done there. He bagged his second in the 35th minute to give Arsenal a 2-0 lead against Brendan Rodgers' side, and could have had a hat-trick if it wasn't for some last-ditch defending.

Earlier this week, hundreds of Fantasy Premier League players sold the Arsenal striker after he failed to score against Crystal Palace on the opening day of the season.

After impressing throughout pre-season, the Brazilian became the most picked player in FPL history ahead of the new campaign.

A massive 72.5 per cent of players selected the former Manchester City striker in their team after he scored seven goals in pre-season for the Gunners.

But the official FPL Twitter account confirmed that 610 players had already sold Jesus within minutes of the match finishing. Oops.

After joining Arsenal, Jesus says the size of the club helped when making his decision.

"When I played against Arsenal I was looking at the Emirates and it was a very good stadium, so I’m very excited to play here," he told the club's official website.

“I’m so happy to sign for this big club. Since day one when I knew I could come to play for Arsenal, I was happy. I know the staff, I know some players, the Brazilian ones. I know there are a lot of top players.

"They are young and I’m still young as well, so I am so happy to be here to help. I come to help, to learn as well and to try to do my best.”
