Gabby Agbonlahor has claimed that Arsenal securing the signature of Gabriel Jesus was a better signing than Manchester City’s capture of Erling Haaland.
Norway superstar Haaland joined the Etihad club after City triggered the £51 million release clause in his Borussia Dortmund contract.
Jesus left City for Arsenal in a deal worth £45 million after a trophy laden five year spell in Manchester.

Both strikers have been the stars of their team at the start of the current season.
Arsenal have made the better start as they sit top of the Premier League table with 18 points.
Former Aston Villa striker Agbonlahor has now explained his reasoning behind naming Jesus as the best signing of the summer.

He told talkSPORT: “Best signing is Gabriel Jesus for me. Haaland has been outstanding, but City always did well without Haaland and scored ridiculous goals without Haaland.
“Gabriel Jesus has turned Arsenal into something else. They have got a striker now who doesn’t labour when he is pressing defenders.”
Agbonlahor has also said that Haaland will win the Golden Boot award.
He added: “I just look at Haaland and even when he's not having a good game, he'll leap in the air and tap one in. He's like from a different planet.”

The Norway international has scored 11 goals in seven games as he has hit the ground running straight away as a City player.
Haaland was one of the most talked about signings of the summer, along with Darwin Nunez, who joined Liverpool in a deal worth up to £85 million.
However, Agbonlahor has slammed the new Liverpool front man.

He said: “When I look at Nunez, I feel that even his first touch doesn't look great.
“We were quick to call Lukaku 'Timberland boots', that was trending on Twitter when he was having bad touches in games. But Nunez looks like he's got two pairs of Timberlands on.”
The Uruguayan has had a torrid start to life as a Premier League player despite an impressive debut in the FA Community Shield victory.

Nunez was sent off on his Anfield debut after he head butted Crystal Palace defender Joachim Andersen. Since his return from suspension, he has found himself below Diogo Jota and Roberto Firmino in Jurgen Klopp's pecking order.
