Liverpool weren't quite at the races while Man United produced a terrific display, having entered the game on the back of four consecutive defeats.

During the interval, he exclaimed: "Trent’s defending today, my goodness, it’s like schoolboy stuff.
"They’re talking about him going to Real Madrid? He’ll be going to Tranmere Rovers after this! He's got to do better.
"He has to do better defensively."
After the game, Jamie Carragher and Daniel Strurridge were involved in a heated on-air debate over Alexander-Arnold's Liverpool future.

The Spanish media echoed the thoughts of Keane as they were also critical of Alexander-Arnold's defensive frailties amid interest from Real, who submitted a bid for the player ahead of Sunday's clash.
Marca claim his 'defensive passivity' cost his side 'dearly' while SPORT said he had a 'very poor' defensive performance that impacted his team.
Real have identified the 26-year-old as their No.1 right-back transfer target.
The club appear to be on course to secure his services at the end of the season in a blockbuster free transfer.

But the La Liga giants attempted to lure him away from England this month following their January bid.
Talks over whether Alexander-Arnold was distracted ahead of Liverpool vs. Man United were dismissed by Arne Slot, who jumped to the player's defence.
Asked if he felt the speculation got the better of him, Slot replied: "No, no I don’t think so.

"I think Trent has played mostly very good games for this club.
"There probably have been games that he wasn’t on his best; today wasn’t his best game, but that probably had something to do with them as well.
"Especially in the first half, sometimes Ryan wasn’t close enough to him, so he was sometimes in a two-vs-one situation as well.
"I would put it more on the performance of Dalot and Bruno Fernandes than it being down to Trent."
