Vicario has responded to Callum Wilson accusing him of a lack of respect during Tottenham’s 4-1 win over Newcastle.
On Sunday, Spurs ended a five-game winless run by dismantling their top-four rivals Newcastle at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, with a Destiny Udogie opener, a Richarlison brace and a Heung-Min Son penalty helping to put Eddie Howe’s side to the sword.
Spurs came into the game having surrendered the lead for a Premier League record five consecutive matches, but the win never looked in doubt despite Joelinton's stoppage-time consolation goal.
It was a dismal day for Newcastle’s attack, which was only made worse when Vicario tried to antagonise Wilson by pulling a face at him upon saving his header in the game’s closing stages.

It led to a confrontation between the pair, while Wilson did not mince his words in his post-match interview.
“There’s a way to win isn’t there,” he told Sky Sports. “I think we’ve seen it in the week when Everton were winning and Pickford was messing around.
“The goalkeeper goes up for a header he starts pulling faces and messing around and It’s just a lack of respect I thought, I said my piece and we’re grown men and we move on.”
However, Vicario has since responded to Wilson’s complaints on his Instagram story.
Sharing a graphic of Wilson’s quotes, Vicario said: “Respect is given… to everyone that respects me!”

Former Spurs defender and Sky Sports pundit Michael Dawson offered his thoughts on the incident, saying: “If I’m 4-1 down I’d be pretty annoyed as well, It’s been a hard afternoon for Newcastle.
“There’s no need to get involved, you’re home and dry and there’s no need to rub salt into the wounds. Callum Spoke there and It’s done and dusted now.”
The win keeps Spurs within three points of the Champions League spots, and three clear of sixth-placed Manchester United.
Newcastle, however, are now seven points adrift of fourth place in seventh.
