Ange Postecoglou has revealed what Harry Kane said about Bayern Munich in a private chat when the manager first joined Tottenham.
Kane accepted Bayern's offer after the reigning Bundesliga champions agreed a £86.4 million deal with Tottenham for the 30-year-old on Thursday.
However, the move was cast into doubt when Kane was reportedly ordered not to board a plane destined for Munich on Friday morning.

There had been suggestions Spurs were trying to make last-minute changes to the deal, but the club have confirmed their agreement with Bayern remains in place and has not changed, according to Sky Sports News.
Meanwhile, Tottenham boss Postecoglou has detailed a conversation he had with Kane on his first day at the club, revealing both parties were keen for a decision to be finalised before their first Premier League outing. You can listen to what he said below.
"I think if you're involved in football as long as I have, you know clubs are not going to talk to each other without the player knowing," Postecoglou said in a press conference on Friday. "We weren't talking to Wolsfburg without knowing Micky van de Ven wanted to come," he added.

"[Harry and I] had a chat on the first day. He was up front and honest that if they could agree a deal then he would go. He wanted it decided by the first game and that was my preference as well."
Postecoglou also lifted the lid on his transfer plans after Kane's imminent exit, admitting that his "whole strategy" had been without Kane in mind.
"I don't think there's a like for like replacement for Harry. We've been planning for this for a while to be fair," he said. "It doesn't take too much investigative work to know that this was going to happen. Our business up to now reflects that.
"I don't think it works that way [giving Daniel Levy a list of strikers to get]. It's not like the family shopping list to go and get milk and bread for the kids. My whole strategy has been that Harry was unlikely to be around so it wasn't like we had a pow wow this morning."
