Tottenham star Cristian Romero has issued a stark warning to chairman Daniel Levy over the club's lack of investment in the squad.
Spurs find themselves in the bottom half of the Premier League table following their damaging 4-3 defeat to Chelsea on Sunday.
That's despite taking an early two-goal lead as the Blues hit back with four unanswered goals.
Ange Postecoglou's have won just one of their past seven games across all competitions as pressure mounts on the Spurs boss amid an underwhelming campaign.

Players have come in for criticism following their performances on the pitch, but Romero believes the board should be held accountable for failing to recruit in comparison to their Premier League rivals.
The Argentine defender, who limped off injured against Chelsea, name-dropped Liverpool and Manchester City, claiming Spurs must 'imitate' their actions in the transfer window.
Asked if Spurs were suffering as a result of their limited spending in the summer and lack of depth, he told Telemundo Deportes via The Daily Mail: "The truth is, I would say no comment, but...
"Manchester City competes every year, you see how Liverpool strengthens its squad, Chelsea strengthens their squad, doesn't do well, strengthens again, and now they're seeing results. Those are the things to imitate."

Romero added: "You have to realise that something is going wrong, hopefully, they realise it.
"The last few years, it's always the same: first, the players, then the coaching staff changes, and it's always the same people responsible.
"Hopefully, they realise who the true responsible ones are, and we move forward because it's a beautiful club that, with the structure it has, could easily be competing for the title every year."

Spurs have splashed around £350 million on new talent since Postecoglou joined the club in July 2023.
But the club have failed to challenge for major honours, with their 2008 League Cup triumph remaining their only piece of silverware since Levy became a member of the board in 2000.
