Toni Kroos has responded after being booed by fans during Real Madrid vs Atletico Madrid.
On Wednesday night, Los Blancos were in Spanish Super Cup action against fierce rivals Atletico at the Al Awwal Park in Saudi Arabia.
The contest ended 3-3 after 90 minutes but Real managed two late goals during extra time to seal a 5-3 victory and their passage to the final, where they will face either Barcelona or Osasuna.
During the match, Real midfielder Kroos was booed by the crowd every time he touched the ball.

One of the reasons for the boos could be the fact that the German was critical of the number of players who decided to move to the Saudi Professional League during the summer transfer window.
Kroos claimed that money was the main reason why players chose to ditch European football for Saudi Arabia.
Back in August, he said: “It’s been said that they play ambitious football there, but it’s all about money. In the end, it’s a decision for money and against football.
“The lack of human rights, it would prevent me from going.”

On the back of the hostile reception he received, Kroos took to social media to issue a response of his own.
He wrote: “That was fun today! Amazing crowd.”
Speaking after the match, Real manager Carlo Ancelotti said: “I don’t understand it, I don’t think Kroos understood it either.”

On his side’s victory, the Italian said: “This is Real Madrid’s DNA. It’s a good apprenticeship for the youngsters, for Bellingham, for Arda. The team never gives up. You can lose, but never give up”
Meanwhile, Kroos’ teammate Dani Carvajal praised the overall atmosphere of the crowd.
He said: “The truth is that the fans have been excellent.
“It has been a spectacular atmosphere. A more soccer atmosphere”
