Bayern Munich star Thomas Muller has made a complete U-turn on the Cristiano Ronaldo vs. Lionel Messi debate.
Muller made his feelings clear as he weighed in on the Ronaldo vs. Messi debate by citing his own record against the pair of superstars.
At the time, he went for the Portuguese because he boasts 'good statistics' against the seven-time Ballon d'Or winner. "I go for Ronaldo," he said.

"Against Messi I have a good statistic, against Ronaldo, not that good."
Muller has been on the wrong end of Champions League matches against Ronaldo's former club Real Madrid over the years.
But he's enjoyed success over Messi, famously beating his old side Barcelona 8-2 in the 2019/20 campaign.

The 33-year-old, however, has changed his tune as he now reckons Messi is the greatest of all time, referencing his 'elegance'.
He said: "Who is the greatest of all time? The GOAT for me is Messi because he makes people say 'I go to the stadium because of his elegance' and at the same time he is very effective in scoring goals and achieving records and titles.
"Cristiano is also a strong candidate in two categories which are stats and titles, but Messi is simply more subtle and elegant."
The GOAT debate-pendulum has recently swung in the favour of Messi after he inspired Argentina to World Cup glory in Qatar.

He starred in the competition as Argentina beat France to win the prestigious prize last year.
Messi has since left Paris Saint-Germain for Inter Miami and helped the club to their first-ever trophy as they won the Leagues Cup.
And he could steer David Beckham's team to another piece of silverware as they take on Houston Dynamo in the U.S Open Cup final.
