Thierry Henry schooled the CBS panel on how to speak English during the latest round of Champions League fixtures.
The first leg of the Champions League quarter-finals were packed with tension and drama, with Arsenal claiming a 2-2 draw against Bayern Munich at the Emirates, and Manchester City and Real Madrid playing out a 3-3 draw at the Santiago BernabƩu.
The following evening saw Barcelona pick up a 3-2 away victory over the competition's perennial underachievers Paris Saint-Germain, and Borussia Dortmund lose 2-1 to Diego Simeoneās dogged AtlĆ©tico Madrid.

Of course, the Champions Leagueās quarter-finals saw the return of CBSā beloved panel for the competition, with Kate Abdo anchoring a star-studded line-up of Micah Richards, Jamie Carragher and Henry.
And after Wednesdayās set of fixtures, Frenchman Henry was provided with an opportunity to show off his superior English skills to his native-English-speaking colleagues.
Carragher described the Champions League quarter-final second legs as ātantalisingā, which prompted Abdo to mockingly note the former Liverpool starās use of a ābig wordā.

Richards then interjected to ask which ābigā word Abdo had used earlier in the show.
Abdo responded: āInculcate. What does it mean?ā
Carragher admitted, āI donāt know. Iāve never heard it in my life,ā before Richards asked the same question of Abdo.

Stuttering Abdo sheepishly said: āI knew it beforeā¦ itās when you create something, with intentā¦ Itās like breeding something isnāt it?ā
Richards joked: āYouāre hoping somebodyās coming in your ear [with the definition.]ā
Henry, who had remained quiet to this point, then said: āYou inculcate values to your kids.ā When asked for an example, he added: āYou inculcate values to your kids, politeness, whatever.ā
Richards then said: āHow does he speak better English than us? And heās French!ā

As alluded to by Henry, to inculcate is to teach someone an attitude, idea, or habit by persistent instruction.
