Former Bangkok FC player Aitsaret Noichaiboon was once banned for three years after assaulting North Bangkok University FC’s Supasan Ruangsuphanimit.
In March 2022, Bangkok FC terminated the contract of Noichaiboon after he viciously elbowed Ruangsuphanimit during a third-tier match in Thailand, with the victim subsequently needing 24 stitches and further hospital treatment.
After being clipped on the leg by Ruangsuphanimit in the closing stages of the game, Noichaiboon reacted angrily and slammed his elbow into his opponent’s face. The incident can be seen below.

Noichaiboon was immediately sent off by the referee, as players from the opposing side attempted to confront him.
Within an hour of the incident, the player was sacked by his club and handed a three-year ban.
He apologised to his opponent three days later when the pair met at a Football Association hearing, was fined by the police and told any further offending within a two-year period will result in a prison sentence.
Bangkok FC released a statement after the match confirming Noichaiboon had been sacked by the club.
