Former England manager Steve McClaren wants to prevent a young player from representing the Three Lions internationally.
McClaren managed England from August 2006 to November 2007 but was sacked after a disappointing Euro 2008 qualification campaign.
Following his time with the Three Lions, McClaren managed several clubs and was recently part of Erik ten Hag's backroom coaching staff at Manchester United.

And now, in his latest job, he is hoping he can convince an England international never to play for the country again.
In July, the 63-year-old was appointed manager of the Jamaican national team, and it is there that he hopes to lure young striker Eddie Nketiah.
Despite an impressive career with the Young Lions, Nketiah has just one appearance for the England national team, coming on during an International friendly against Australia in October 2023.

Therefore, the 25-year-old could instead choose to join McClaren and represent Jamaica and further add to his expected increase in game time having completed a move from Arsenal to Crystal Palace on deadline day this summer.
After, seven years and 168 appearances for Arsenal, Nketiah joined the Eagles for £25million plus £5m in add-ons on Friday.
Taking to social media to post an emotional farewell, he wrote: "Thank you @arsenal ❤️.
"As I say goodbye, I want to take this time to say thank you to everyone at the club, from my team-mates to all the wonderful staff who have been a part of my journey and have made this place home for so many years.

"Working my way up from Hale End to the first team was a dream come true.
"It taught me what it means to play for the club and what a privilege it is to wear the shirt. I never took it for granted and gave my all every time I stepped on the pitch.
"From scoring my first senior goal against Norwich in 2017, to making over 100 appearances for Arsenal, I have made memories here I shall carry with me for the rest of my life.
