Real Madrid legend Roberto Carlos has picked out two England players who are good enough to have played for Brazil.
Having been a part of perhaps the best Real Madrid and Brazil teams of all, it's safe to say that Carlos is more than capable of identifying a world-class footballer.
The legendary left-back has played alongside the likes of Zinedine Zidane, Ronaldinho and Ronaldo Nazario and has won almost all that there is to win in football.

Therefore, when he revealed that he has been seriously impressed by two of England's top players and claimed that they could make it into Brazil's starting lineup, it was high praise indeed.
Despite boasting players such as Real Madrid pair Vinicius Jr and Rodrygo, Brazil currently find themselves fifth in the Fifa world rankings, behind England, Spain, France and Argentina.
Carlos described Brazil as currently having a "really good team," but picked out two players from the Three Lions who could comfortably start for the them had they been eligible.

Speaking to The Telegraph ahead of the 2022 Qatar World Cup, Carlos: "Alexander-Arnold has to be there – because he’s among the best ones.
"Kane is a good player too.
"You have a good team, not just in terms of names but in terms of players who have trained well and are ready to play at a World Cup – or to play for the Brazilian national team.
"I’d say those two [Kane and Alexander-Arnold], but there are more.

"There’s a lot of quality in the England team. You have a lot of quality.”

Of the two selections, Kane is perhaps the most unsurprising given the fact that he wold be a clear upgrade over starting striker Richarlison, who failed to start over Kane at Tottenham Hotspur, and would form a formidable attack with the likes of Vinicius Jr, Raphinha, Savio and Rodrygo.
However, given Alexander-Arnold's struggles to find a regular place in Gareth Southgate's England team, it may shock some fans to hear that Carlos woild prefer to have him in the Brazil lineup instead of either Danilo or Eder Militao.

But this could be about to change as the Liverpool star is expected to be a regular starter under new England boss Thomas Tuchel, despite missing out on the German's first England squad due to an injury.
