With the feat now standing at 130 unbeaten games, it is worth noting the record applies to just league outings after defeats to RB Leipzig and Manchester City in Europe this season.
Red Star Belgrade’s accolade stands as a testament to their dominance on home soil, and they won the domestic title by 16 points ahead of second-placed Partizan Belgrade this season.
Often criticised for its tribal-like crowds and passionate supporters, Red Star boss Vladan Milojevic believes the landscape is beginning to change regarding football in his home country.
