Alongside a picture of him holding a blue No.26 shirt, Endrick said: "I don't know if y'all ready for this. On June 20th I will be on ESPN to tell a news that will shake the world of sports."

Irrespective of what the news may be, the forward’s focus will be on the Copa America in the United States.

"God made many of my dreams come true very early on, and I'm very grateful," he told ESPN Brazil. "There's a huge burden on my back, but he wouldn't give it to someone who couldn't manage or bear it.

"I'm very happy to be in the national team and here in Orlando [Florida, at the team's training base]. I'm going to keep training, working to win this Copa América and lead the team to success."

He added that the team were on course to succeed at the continental tournament, which they last won in 2019.

Endrick continued: "We're on the right track. We've only had four games [under new head coach Dorival] and now we're training well, we've got time to train. What we want is to do our best for the national team and for Brazil.

"Let's keep going and hopefully we'll have the support of all the Brazilians to conquer America."
