Paris Saint-Germain fans expressed their sentiments towards their departed star Lionel Messi ahead of his MLS debut for Inter Miami.
As per expectation, Messi marked his MLS debut in the most Messi way possible, scoring a goal in front of a jubilant away crowd of Inter Miami fans.
The goal was made all the more better in the way it came about, created and finished by Messi, in the 89th minute of the game, effectively sealing the win.

Before the game, however, his former supporters from PSG, made sure to make their feelings known about the Argentinian star's exit by placing an anti-Messi banner outside the DRV PNK stadium.
The Ultras of the Parisian club have made no secret of their feelings towards Messi in the past, protesting an unauthorised trip to Saudi Arabia last season.

Messi's poor relationship with the PSG fanbase has been well-documented and ultimately, it seems they were relieved to get rid of the World Cup-winning Argentine.
He has spoken about a 'break' between himself and PSG fans in a recent interview, detailing his difficulties in adjusting to life amongst the Ligue 1 champions.
Meanwhile, fast forward to present day, Messi seems to have had no problems in adjusting to life in the States, lifting the Leagues Cup with his Inter Miami team-mates. Now, he's gotten off to the best start possible in the MLS as well.
The ultras of PSG have been similarly ruthless in their treatment of other stars at the club in the past, with Neymar at the receiving end of a great deal of criticism from their side as well.

They unveiled a banner, containing the same words as the Messi banner, towards the Brazilian during their Ligue 1 clash against Lens on Saturday.
In any case, it looks as though the bridges between Messi and PSG fans are not going to be rebuilt any time soon, with the Argentine star continuing to dazzle in the States with a new-found home at Inter Miami.
