New data has revealed the fastest player in every key position in the Premier League so far this season, as well as some of the quickest players in Europe.
While Manchester City defender Kyle Walker and Liverpool striker Darwin Nunez have previously laid claim to being the fastest player in the league, neither man appears on the latest list.
Data and analytics site PFF has charted the fastest players in both the top-flight and from abroad using tracking data from Sportlogiq.

They've worked out a 'max speed' stat by calculating the average of the top five recorded maximum speeds per game from each individual player.
It has now been confirmed that Tottenham centre-back Micky van de Ven is the fastest player in the Premier League to have played at last 450 minutes this season.
He's been clocked at having a max speed of just under 36 km/ph, putting him just ahead of Wolves' Pedro Neto – the fastest winger in the league this season.

Aston Villa's Moussa Diaby has registered the fastest speed playing as a centre-forward and as an attacking midfielder, at around 35 km/ph for both.
Manchester United's Diogo Dalot is the fastest full-back this season, also clocking speeds of around 35 km/ph.
Meanwhile, Everton's Amadou Onana has been the fastest central midfielder, at just under 35 km/ph.

PFF also revealed the fastest players across Europe, with Alvaro Garcia (La Liga), Leroy Sane (Bundesliga), Matteo Politano (Serie A) and Kylian Mbappe (Ligue 1) taking top spot in their respective leagues.
Due to PFF's method of calculating players' max speed off of their five fastest sprints per game, all players are set to have gone faster than their reported max speeds.
Earlier this season, the Premier League announced that Van de Ven had registered the fastest sprint in the league since records began in 2020.
He clocked a top speed of 37.38 km/ph in Tottenham's 3-2 win over Brentford in February - the highest speed by a player on record in England's top flight.
