Paul Pogba has received an unusual offer to play for a 'celebrity amateur team' in Russia as the former Manchester United star looks to return to action in 2025.
Pogba was initially banned for four years after being found guilty of doping offenses in 2023 after a drug test showed DHEA - a compound that promotes the production of hormones in the body including testosterone - in his system.
However, following a successful appeal by the French international CAS have reduced his ban down to 18 months.

As Pogba has already served the majority of his ban he can begin professional training in January and make his full return to action in March next year.
Pogba is currently tied down to his Juventus until 2026, but it is understood that the Italian giants will allow the midfielder to terminate his contract so he is able to make a smooth return to action.
Still only 31, Pogba certainly has a lot to offer on the pitch, and many clubs are expected to be interested in his services, however, he already has one rather unusual offer on the table.

According to Foot Mercato, Pogba has been approached by 'Broke Boys FC' who are an amateur celebrity side in Russia that aren't currently recognised by FIFA.
They play in the Media Football League, which operates as an unofficial league made up of various influencers and celebrities across the country.
Despite it being below the professional level the league does attract thousands of supporters, with Broke Boys winning this year's title in front of over 27,000 fans.

The report claims the 'concrete offer' was made by Broke Boys prior to CAS's decision to reduce Pogba's ban and the World Cup winner has informed the Russian club that he would prefer to join a top-flight team in Europe.
Pogba has also been linked with a move to Roberto De Zerbi's Marseille since his ban was reduced.
