Paul Mullin has given an insight into what really happened at Wrexham before his recent exit from the club.
Back in 2021, Mullin opted to leave Cambridge United and sign for Wrexham.
Since then, the Englishman has scored 110 goals in 172 appearances for the Red Dragons.

Mullin has played a key role as Phil Parkinson's men managed to secure three promotions in a row.
Now preparing for life in the Championship, Wrexham decided to allow Mullin to leave the club on loan.
The 30-year-old will now spend the 25/26 campaign on loan at League One side Wigan Athletic.

On the back of the transfer being confirmed, Wrexham co-owner Rob McElhenney took to social media and revealed a message he sent to club director Humphrey Ker prior to Mullin's move to Wales.
The screenshot of the message showed McElhenney sending Ker an image of Mullin, with a question which said: "Are we able to get people of this calibre?"
While the response suggested that it was 'highly unlikely', Mullin was indeed signed, and the rest is history.
Speaking on talkSPORT this week, Mullin admitted that he was left baffled by the whole situation that led to his exit.

He said: "It's obviously a strange situation. Last year was difficult for me. Wrexham's a place I love, they've changed my life and given me many happy times.
"You just need time to come back [from injury] and find yourself again. I wasn't allotted the time to do that. Then from January onwards, I don't know why but the gaffer didn't want to use me."
Mullin continued: "Then going into the summer with us getting promoted again, the gaffer's decided to go elsewhere. It's only a short career and as much as I love Wrexham, I want to play football. I don't want to be sat at home every weekend.

"People say it's the dream to be a footballer, but it's so difficult when you're training every day and at the end of the week, you don't get to do what you trained for. It's really tough."
