One of the most influential contracts in football history was once leaked, as an entire breakdown of Neymar Jr's salary, bonuses, and clauses was revealed to the public.
Neymar was the victim of Football Leaks, who have leaked the details of multiple high-profile players over the years including, Luis Suarez and David De Gea.
The leak was revealed in 2016 when Neymar was arguably at the peak of his powers for Barcelona on the back of their treble-winning 2015 season.

The Brazilian's release clause was also included in the report, with the figure at the time being €190 million in attempt to warn off potential buyers.
That figure directly influenced Neymar's next contract, which featured the €220 million buy-out clause triggered by PSG in 2017, changing the economic landscape of football forever.
Compared to the majority of football's iconic stars, the leak revealed Neymar was earning a rather modest five million euro yearly salary, however, the extent of the bonuses the Brazilian earned may raise a few eyebrows.

The document outlined that Neymar would receive an additional €1,062,000 if he participated in at least 60 percent of matches, playing a minimum of 45 minutes in each.
Simply qualifying for the Champions League netted him €637,000, while progressing to the knockout stages brought an additional €425,000 into his pocket.
Furthermore, he would earn an extra €100,000 per season for being named in the required number of playing squads, irrespective of whether he takes the field during those matches.

If he won the Ballon d'Or during his tenure at Barca, he would have received an additional €425,000.
Furthermore, he earned €637,000 for every La Liga title he won with the team, and an impressive €850,000 if Barcelona won the Champions League.
Bonuses were also in place for combinations of major trophies, with Neymar pocketing €1,700,000 for achieving the treble in 2015.
