Everton have released an incredibly blunt statement to confirm Neal Maupay's loan move to Marseille.
The 28-year-old joins the Ligue 1 side on an initial loan deal with an obligation to buy at the end of the season.
He ends a two-year spell at Goodison Park, which saw him spend the 2023/24 campaign on loan at Brentford.

In the previous campaign, Maupay scored just one goal after his £15 million move from Brighton.
Last week, the Frenchman was one of the players who was on the end of abuse from Everton supporters as the squad returned from London following their 4-0 defeat at Tottenham Hotspur.
And after Fabrizio Romano reported news that he would be moving to Marseille, for a fee believed to be £6 million, Maupay responded with a clip of the film Shawshank Redemption, where one of the characters is leaving a prison.

Upon confirmation of that move, Everton made an announcement on their official club website - and it is incredibly blunt.
The statement simply reads: "Neal Maupay has left Everton to join Olympique de Marseille on loan for 2024/25, with the French club having an obligation to buy the forward at the end of the season.
"Maupay moves to the Ligue 1 side after spending the 2023/24 campaign on loan with one of his former clubs Brentford.
"The 28-year-old Frenchman joined Everton in August 2022, making 32 appearances for the Blues and scoring one goal."

Maupay's one goal for the club came in a 1-0 win over West Ham - with fans feeling the mention of the singular strike may have been something of a dig at the France striker.
The Toffees are looking to add further to their squad today, having signed six players this summer.
Their marquee signing is a £16.9 million deal for former Sheffield United star Iliman Ndiaye, who arrived from Marseille. Lyon defender Jake O'Brien, meanwhile, was signed for £17 million. Both players are awaiting their first Premier League starts.
