Mason Greenwood has reportedly made a decision on his future after joining Getafe on loan from Manchester United.
In August, it was confirmed that Greenwood and United have mutually agreed that the 22-year-old would continue his career away from Old Trafford.
On transfer deadline day, Greenwood confirmed a loan move to Spanish La Liga side Getafe for the 23/24 season.

Last weekend, Greenwood scored his first goal for Getafe against Celta Vigo.
Taking to social media, he wrote: “Happy to score my first goal for Getafe. Amazing team spirit to come away with a point.”
Now, it has been claimed that Greenwood has made a decision on his future.

According to The Sun, Greenwood would like to extend his stay with the Spanish club.
A source told the publication: “The players and fans have all given him a welcome he could only have dreamed of.
“He really feared his career was over. Now he’s just so happy and wants to carry on playing and not think too far ahead.”
The Sun had previously reported that Greenwood was set to return to the fold at United before the Old Trafford club made a U-turn after facing backlash from fans.

Greenwood was first arrested back in January 2022 following charges of attempted rape, assault and coercive control.
However, those charges were dropped this February by the Crown Prosecution Service.
A spokesperson said at that time: “We have a duty to keep cases under continuous review.

“In this case a combination of the withdrawal of key witnesses and new material that came to light meant there was no longer a realistic prospect of conviction.”
