Plymouth Argyle have been tipped to make a deadline day move for one of Wayne Rooney's former Manchester United teammates.
After being appointed heach coach in May, former Derby County and DC United manager Rooney has been tasked with bringing "exciting and attacking" football to Home Park.
So far, it has been a slightly disappointing start to the Championship campaign for the Pilgrims, who have yet to pick up a win in their opening three league games.

They have recruited several players this summer, including Michael Obafemi, Nathanael Ogbeta, Darko Gyabi, Muhamed Tijani, Ibrahim Cissoko and Victor Palsson.
And it looks like a late move for free agent Ravel Morrison could be on the cards, with The Sun reporting Rooney is 'weighing up a move' for the Jamaica international.
Rooney believes the talented Morrison could 'do a job' for Plymouth this season.

In fact, scouts from Plymouth watched the former Manchester United midfielder in action last week as he played alongside a number of free agents in a PFA-arranged friendly.
If a deal is struck on deadline day, then Rooney and Morrison will be reunited for a fourth time after spending time together at United, Derby County and DC United.
Morrison was regarded by many as one of the biggest talents in United's academy during his time at Old Trafford but he failed to live up to expectations.

Rooney thought the midfielder, who would end up making three first-team appearances for United, would become a "top-level" player but there was issues.
Speaking to the Man Utd podcast in 2020, Rooney explained why he smashed Morrison's phone.
"I think with the younger players obviously it's been well documented with Ravel Morrison," he said. "He was brilliant in training but he had a few issues and it halted his career. We all thought he'd be top-level.
"Everyone could see those issues would be there and quite a few people tried to [intervene]. I spoke to him and smashed his phone up at one point.

"He came into the first-team dressing room when he was in the reserves and my phone was in charge so he took it off and put his on. It was one of the old BlackBerry phones and it had your email address on the front so I thought it was one of the other lads."
Rooney added: "When I saw it was one of the reserve players at the time I just smashed his phone up. Gary Neville was trying to get him to live with him so people were trying different things."
