Sir Alex Ferguson could finally get the chance to work with a player that Manchester United failed to sign during his time in charge.
Legendary manager Ferguson retired back in 2013 after winning his 13th Premier League title.
Since then, United have failed to lift the top flight trophy as many managers have tried and failed to bring the glory days back to Old Trafford.

Earlier in the week, it was reported that Ferguson could make a return to the dugout as a one-off.
Former United, Villarreal, Fiorentina and Italy striker Giuseppe Rossi retired in 2023 but has decided to host a farewell game in Florence on March 22.
And the 38-year-old claims that Ferguson, who handed him his senior debut back in 2004, will be present in a coaching capacity.

"Ferguson will be there as a coach," he said, as per The Sun.
"He was my first coach, I signed when I was 17.
"I only did three years with him and played little, but he immediately said yes and this shows what kind of person he is.
"I did little at United but he treats me like Cristiano Ronaldo, who has scored 1000 goals."

Since then, it has been reported that the likes of Luca Toni, Antonio Cassano, Sebastien Frey, Borja Valero and Gabriel Omar Batistuta will be featured in the match.
This means that Ferguson could get the chance to finally work with Batistuta after he failed to manage the player at United.

It was previously revealed that Ferguson wanted to sign Batistuta at United, but the club could not afford to buy him.

As reported by The Mirror, United's former chairman Martin Edwards told NBC Sports: "Ferguson was keen to sign Batistuta. We looked at the situation, but at that time, the wages Batistuta wanted, and of course we're talking net.
"I can't remember the figures now, (but) they would have jeopardised our wage structure at the club at the time, and therefore turned it down."
Speaking in 2000, Batistuta himself admitted he would love to join the Red Devils.
According to The Guardian, the Argentine said: "If I ever leave Fiorentina I would very much like to go to Manchester United because out of the three best teams in Europe - United, Lazio and Barcelona - Manchester, in my opinion, is the best."
