Reports in Italy have claimed that Napoli star Scott McTominay has contacted one of his former Manchester United teammates in a bid to convince them to join Napoli.
McTominay made the shock move to the Serie A in the summer for a reported fee of £25.4 million, bringing his 22-year spell at United to an end.
Following the move to Napoli, McTominay revealed that the reason behind his Old Trafford exit was down to happiness being the most important thing for him in his career.

McTominay is believed to be ‘great friends’ with Garnacho, with the pair staying in touch following the midfielder's move to Serie A.
The report has to be taken with a pinch of salt due to its local origin, however, it comes following reports from Corriere dello Sport, and Gazzetta dello Sport which claim Garnacho is on Napoli's radar.
Napoli are reportedly prepared to pay around €50m for the United winger and have met with Garnacho’s agents in Barcelona this week.
United are said to want around €80m for the Argentina international, pricing Napoli out of a potential deal, however, it is believed the Italian side will look to strike a discount with United to secure the deal.

Garnacho's Ruben Amorim struggles
Garnacho has recently become out of favour with new boss Ruben Amorim, and was removed completely from the matchday squad along with Marcus Rashford for the Manchester derby.
The 20-year-old has not started a Premier League game for United since then, but made his return to the starting lineup in the FA Cup as Amorim's side knocked out Arsenal.
