Ruben Amorim has revealed that he showed no hesitation in denying Manchester United player's requests after their 1-0 win over Fulham.
On Sunday evening, United claimed their second Premier League win of the year after beating Fulham 1-0 at Craven Cottage.
A late winner from centre back Lisandro Martinez sealed the crucial three points for the visitors, taking United up to 12th in the league table.

But, despite claiming a massive win, Amorim was not fully satisfied and post-match he revealed that he brutally shut down the one reward that his players requested after the game.
United handed Amorim the perfect 40th birthday present during the game, claiming just their third away win of the season, and boasting the side's confidence heading into their final Europa League group stage game.
With the United boss in high spirits following the birthday win, his players thought they would try their luck and ask for the next day off training as a reward for the win.

But, while speaking to MUTV after the match, Amorim revealed that he was having none of it, saying: “They asked for the day off tomorrow. I didn’t give it, so we are training because it’s my birthday and my gift is to work with the guys who didn’t play.
“It will be fantastic because we won. Then I will have dinner with my kids.”
Earlier in the evening, the Portuguese manager joked about the stresses of working for United during perhaps their most challenging season since the departure of legendary manager Sir Alex Ferguson over a decade ago.

As it stands, United have only 8 wins from 23 Premier League matches and could be on track for their lowest finish in the history of the competition.
And this is a fact that doesn't weight lightly on Amorim, who joked that the pressure of trying to turn United's form around since his arrival in November has caused him to age an extra ten years.
He told a press conference: “It’s not 40…I’m 50! After two months at Manchester United, it’s 50.
“It’s a privilege to spend my 40th birthday here.”
