Ruben Amorim has already made his feelings clear on his relationship with Marcus Rashford, with the Barcelona star now claiming Manchester United are in 'no man's land' after chopping and changing multiple managers.
After United boss Amorim replaced Erik ten Hag as head coach back in November, Rashford's future looked destined to be away from Old Trafford.
Just one month after the Portuguese arrived at Old Trafford, he made the controversial decision to drop Rashford from his squad for arguably the biggest match of the season against local rivals Manchester City
The winger later joined fellow Premier League side Aston Villa on a short-term loan in January, before securing a dream season-long loan move to Barcelona this summer.

Rashford has now spoken out on United's slide in recent seasons and the appointment of Amorim, claiming the club has been left in 'no man's land' after successive managers.

In an interview with England legend Gary Lineker on The Rest is Football podcast, Rashford criticised United's lack of direction and claimed that the necessary rebuild has not yet begun despite Amorim being in charge for almost 10 months.
He said: "We have been way below where we deem United to be but if you take a step back, which I've been able to do, especially over these last six months, what do you expect?

"People say that we've been in a transition for years but to be in a transition you have to start it. The actual transition hasn't started yet.
"To start a transition you have to make a plan and stick to it.
“I feel like we’ve had that many different managers and different ideas and different strategies in order to win … you end up in the middle of – you end up in no man’s land.”

What has Ruben Amorim said about Marcus Rashford?
While Amorim and United are yet to respond to Rashford's latest claims, the Portuguese's previous comments about the player have already made it clear the pair didn't always see eye-to-eye when working together.

Following Rashford's move to Aston Villa, Amorim admitted: "I couldn't get Marcus to see the way you're supposed to play football and to train the way I see it.
"Sometimes you have one player that is really good with one coach, and the same player with another coach is different."
Earlier in the season, following the 1-0 win over Fulham at Craven Cottage, Amorim appeared to hit out at Rashford when responding to a question asking why the forward was not involved in the fixture.
He said: "You could see today that on the bench we missed a bit of rhythm to go and change the game, move some pieces, but I prefer it that way.

"I will put Vital (goalkeeping coach) before a player who does not give his best every day. So I am not going to change in that aspect."
