Rio Ferdinand has revealed that a current Manchester United star is part of a WhatsApp group full of former players who 'hammer the club' every week.
United legend Ferdinand regularly comments on dealings at his former club through his role in the media and his own YouTube channel.
On the latest edition of 'Rio Ferdinand Presents', the former centre-back told United women's star Ella Toone that there was a WhatsApp group, filled with former players, who have been 'hammering' the current men's side during matches.

He revealed that the group, which is called 'Band of Brothers', features the likes of Wayne Rooney, Edwin van der Sar, Patrice Evra and Nani.
Current Watford manager Tom Cleverley and Brighton forward Danny Welbeck are also involved.
As is Manchester United defender Jonny Evans, who has not played under Amorim since November due to a muscle injury.
The Northern Ireland centre-back enjoyed his first spell at United between 2006 and 2015, meaning his career at Old Trafford overlapped with the likes of Rooney and Ferdinand.

Ferdinand explained: "We hammer each other. Active... it's active constantly.
"Wazza was the last person who spoke in there. It's called 'Band of Brothers'. I can't tell you the next bit, it won't make the cut.
"It's just hammering the United team. Look, lads are just hammering them through the game. 'He's not good enough'. I love it. It just keeps me connected to the lads."

Toone replied: "You're busy in it, aren't you? You're on it - every other message!"
"You've got the younger lads like Tom Cleverley, Danny Welbeck, and then there's Nani and Anderson," Ferdinand added.
"You know who joined recently? Edwin van der Sar. I think he's going to delete himself soon because the chat ain't for him.
"Who else is in there? Jonny Evans is in there, who's currently playing. Some of the stuff that goes on... Patrice Evra gets mullered, hammered all the time. We hammer each other."
