Paul Scholes called out Ruben Amorim's defence of Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho following their 1-1 draw with Real Sociedad.
United will go into the second leg of their Europa League last 16 tie knowing that a win at Old Trafford will secure them a place in the last eight.
Joshua Zirkzee gave them the lead in San Sebastian with a second half strike, and was praised for his performance by fans.

But United could not hold on, with Mikel Oyarzabal converting a penalty following a Bruno Fernandes handball.
Orri Oskarsson had the chance to win it late on for Sociedad but poked his effort wide of the post from eight yards out.
United created several opportunities at the other end but, barring Zirkzee's goal, could not take them.
Amorim decided to substitute Garnacho on 77 minutes, replacing the winger with Christian Eriksen.

The decision received a mixed response from United fans, though some were critical at Garnacho's reaction to being taken off for the second consecutive match.
After the match, Amorim defended the Argentinian and his own decision to substitute him, telling reporters: "I felt he was tired.
"You see it because we did a lot of transitions in the second half, he was late to defend. I felt he was tired to recover and do the same things."

Reacting to Amorim's comments on TNT Sports, Karen Carney claimed that fatigue 'might have played a part' in Garnacho's second half performance, and noted tape around his knee.
But Scholes was less than impressed with Amorim's defence of the winger, stating: "He looks like he's sulking a bit. I'm not having the fatigue thing.

"I was a little disappointed with Garnacho. Because his biggest strength is running through, he gives you penetration ... he just lacked a bit of energy tonight.
"Little bit of sulkiness, I think. I'm sure he will get better. And he needs to get better, because they haven't really got anyone else to call upon."
