Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford posted a note of his current training schedule to his Instagram story, and fans gave a mixed reaction.
Rashford, 27, spent the latter part of the 2024/25 season on loan at Aston Villa from Man United and saw an upturn in his form, producing four goals and six assists in 17 appearances for Unai Emery’s side.
And his future at Old Trafford is still unclear, with the England international tentatively linked with a move to Barcelona.

On Wednesday (June 11), Rashford posted a clip of him training with the caption: “Feeling better again.”
But one fan did not see Rashford’s hard work as something that should be praised, writing: “Every pre-season he does these photo shoots but then goes to see boxing matches halfway round the world days before important matches!
“Makes no sense if you are feeling good one month before the season starts.”

The United forward then hit back, replying: “I’m feeling good because I’m now injury free pal.”
Then, on Thursday, Rashford gave an insight into his pre-season training routine by posting a note to his Instagram story, which you can view below.
The schedule shows various days and times when Rashford will use the gym or do on-pitch work but the post drew a mixed reaction from fans.
One said: “And it’s not like he’s doing 9-5 hours either. I’d be surprised if he did any more than 10-3 to allow for recovery.

“Dude earns more than 10x the average yearly salary every week and does half the hours. And the work he does do is what many would consider leisure, ie going to the gym and playing football.”
Another added: “Many of us go to the gym after work, but we don't post it online.
“He get's paid millions to do it."

A third commented: “He's probably doing it for Barcelona.”
While a fourth claimed: "He's not playing around. He's nearing 30 and this is his last dance. Let him show he's the explosive megastar that he was, maybe not at Manchester United, maybe only at Aston Villa or Barcelona. Let's see what he got in his locker."
