An announcement is impending over the future of Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford, according to a new report.
Rashford hasn't played for United since he was dropped from the matchday squad for the Manchester derby last month by manager Ruben Amorim.
The 27-year-old was named on the bench for the 2-0 home defeat to Newcastle on December 30 but otherwise hasn't been in the squad at all.

He was again absent for the 3-1 defeat to Brighton at Old Trafford on Sunday, with Amorim giving a pointed answer when asked about Rashford's situation.
He said: "Rashford is out of this moment because he is not playing.
"No matter what, I am not going to put out a player I don't believe is the best for the team."

The England international has been linked with loan moves to AC Milan, Borussia Dortmund and even Tottenham.
According to German outlet BILD, Dortmund are now believed to be 'leading the race' to sign him on loan and are even planning an announcement for Thursday.
It is added that Dortmund have that specific date in mind as they want Rashford to be available to feature against Werder Bremen on Saturday - despite his lack of match fitness.

The German club are set to pay just under £6 million to cover a portion of the forward's salary while he is playing at Signal Iduna Park, though that figure could increase if he stays at the club to play in the Club World Cup this summer.
The Bundesliga side are currently managed by former midfielder Nuri Sahin, though Sky Sports Germany's Florian Plettenberg has reported that the ex-Turkey international is under pressure after a series of poor results.
It is claimed that the 'shadow coach' - the preferred candidate of Dortmund chiefs to replace him - is the former Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag.
Ten Hag was the manager in charge at Old Trafford when Rashford netted 17 league goals in the 2022/23 season - the joint-most successful Premier League campaign of his career.
