Manchester United fans have condemned a banner aimed at Marcus Rashford which has appeared during their side's Carabao Cup quarter-final clash against Tottenham Hotspur.
Rashford was not named in the matchday squad for a second consecutive game after being excluded from the 2-1 win over Manchester City on Sunday.
Ruben Amorim confirmed that this particular absence was for 'selection' reasons, with Alejandro Garnacho - who was also excluded from the City win - back in the squad and among the substitutes at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Rashford's absence follows an interview he conducted with journalist Henry Winter on Tuesday, in which he claimed he was ready for a 'new challenge'.
United fans have had mixed feelings over the 27-year-old's future, with some believing that now may be the time for Rashford to seek pastures new.
But supporters believe that several travelling away fans in north London have taken things too far by unveiling an 'anti-Rashford' banner.
The banner simply reads: "Excuses, ta ra Marcus" - an apparent callback to the infamous "Ta ra Fergie' banner in 1989 which called for Sir Alex Ferguson to leave the club after three years in charge.

One wrote: "Don't agree with the Rashford banner tonight. I may think it's best for both player and club he goes, but on matchday you should be 110% [behind] the club, team and manager."
A second said: "The Manchester United I love would never run a banner on our own. Despicable."
A third added: "That Marcus Rashford banner is incredibly poor taste. The lad bleeds United. No need."

And a fourth asked: "Excuses for what??? What excuses did he say in that interview?"
Despite Rashford's comments and his own selection decisions, Amorim has stated that United 'need' the forward and that he wants him to stay at the club.
In his pre-match press conference ahead of the Spurs clash, Amorim said: "This kind of club needs big talent, and he's a big talent, so he just needs to perform at the highest level and that is my focus. I just want to help Marcus."
