A top Manchester United journalist has revealed a shocking rumour about Marcus Rashford just hours before the derby against Manchester City.
On Sunday afternoon, United will clash with historic rivals Manchester City in one of the most anticipated derbies of the Premier League calendar.
Unlike previous seasons, both sides are heading into the match on a poor run of form, with City winning just one of their last 10 matches and United struggling to find consistency under new manager Ruben Amorim.

And now, United may have been dealt another blow as a top journalist has revealed a surprising rumour about Rashford just hours before kick off.
According to Samuel Luckhurst, chief United reporter for the Manchester Evening News, rumours have suggested that Rashford will not be named in the squad for the Premier League clash on Sunday.
"There's a rumour doing the rounds that Rashford is not in the squad today," he revealed.

"Whether he is in or out, here or elsewhere, he is bound to dominate United’s team news after he copped more grief from the matchgoers in Plzen on Thursday evening."
Despite struggling to find form this season, Rashford appears to have improved under Amorim, scoring three goals in four appearances, and therefore would be a huge blow if he were absent against City.
Furthermore, the English winger was central to United's success in the same fixture last season, scoring an early goal in the match to put his side ahead.

However, although he has improved his goal scoring record since Amorim's arrival, Rashford has struggled to find a regular place in United's starting lineup, with most of his appearances coming off of the bench.
In total, the 27-year-old has scored seven goals and assisted three goals in 24 appearances across all competitions this season.
Comparatively, he netted just eight goals and assisted five in 43 appearances under Erik ten Hag last season, having scored 30 in the Dutchman's first season.
