Marcus Rashford has been linked with a huge European side with several clubs considering a loan move for the Manchester United forward in January.
Rashford, 27, has fallen out of favour under Ruben Amorim and left out of four consecutive matchday squads for United’s matches against Manchester City, Tottenham, Bournemouth and Wolves.
But he was included on the bench for the Red Devils’ 2-0 Premier League defeat against Newcastle United on December 30 – but did not feature.
On Sunday, he was once again omitted from the 20-man matchday squad for United’s 2-2 draw against Liverpool at Anfield.

Amorim, 39, put this down to the player being “ill” in his pre-match press conference last Friday.
Now, The Athletic’s David Ornstein reports that another club has joined the likes of AC Milan and Juventus in “weighing up” an attempt to potentially recruit the England international.
Ornstein claims that Borussia Dortmund are “considering a move” to sign the player “on loan” from Manchester United in the January transfer window.

Of course, this comes after the United Academy graduate gave a bombshell interview to journalist Henry Winter in December revealing how he was “ready for a new challenge and next steps”.
"When I leave it's going to be ‘no hard feelings’," Rashford told Winter.
“You’re not going to have any negative comments from me about Manchester United. That’s me as a person.
"If I know that a situation is already bad I'm not going to make it worse. I've seen how other players have left in the past and I don't want to be that person. When I leave I'll make a statement and it will be from me."

If Rashford were to join Dortmund he would follow a similar path to his former United teammate Jadon Sancho, who spent the second half of the 2023/24 season on loan at the Bundesliga side after falling out of favour with then-United manager Erik ten Hag.
Sancho, 24, rekindled his career and even helped the Germans reach a Champions League final before being loaned to Chelsea for the 2024/25 campaign. Rashford's United contract is set to run until June 2028, after he penned a five-year deal in the summer of 2023.
