Manchester United interim manager Ruud van Nistelrooy revealed that he will message Ole Gunnar Solskjaer following the Red Devils’ 5-2 win against Leicester City on Wednesday evening.
Van Nistelrooy, 48, took charge of United following the sacking of Erik ten Hag on Monday.
And he was pleased by the Red Devils’ rampant attacking display as Casemiro and Bruno Fernandes scored twice, with Alejandro Garnacho also getting on the scoresheet against the Foxes.

United are edging closer to agreeing a deal with potential new manager Ruben Amorim, but it was the ex-Man United boss Solskjaer who got a mention from Van Nistelrooy in his post-match press conference.
The Norwegian also saw his United side put five past Cardiff City in a 5-1 win in the Welsh capital in December 2018, which was his first game in in charge.
"OK. Well, I draw with Ole," Van Nistelrooy said to reporters when he was made aware of the stat.

"I will text him about this. Thanks to the players, it happened."
“I came here as an assistant to help the club," Van Nistelrooy added when asked about his future.
"Now, in this role, I’m helping as long as needed. In the future, in any capacity, I’m here to help the club further to build towards the future that’s what I'm here for.

"I’m here to help and serve and give my everything for the club in any capacity, with so many people here around me that want the best for the club, and that will never change.
“We scored some great goals, the first one was a beauty from Casemiro. I have to also say that we had some luck as well.
"Two posts and it comes to Casemiro's feet, and Bruno's [Fernandes] free kick is deflected, and it’s in, but it’s the first one for him after a long time, so I'm so happy for him that he’s on the scoresheet twice.
"Five goals, but the chances against West Ham, Fenerbahce and Brentford, we created so many more bigger chances. All of a sudden, we had some luck on our side - that made it a great day today."

It is still unclear whether the Dutchman will move into a different role if Amorim takes control of the club.
It is thought that the 39-year-old will bring five members of his staff from Sporting CP to United, with coaches Emanuel Ferro, Adelio Candido, and Carlos Fernandes, goalkeeping coach Jorge Vital and sports scientist Paulo Barreira all expected to become part of United’s coaching and backroom set-up.
