A Manchester United star was told he ought to be 'fined a week's wages' after ITV commentator Lee Dixon slammed a simple error in the FA Cup win against Leicester City.
United booked their place in the competition's fifth round with a 2-1 victory at Old Trafford over the Foxes last night.
Ruud van Nistelrooy's side took the lead thanks to Bobby De Cordova-Reid's close range header after Andre Onana parried Wilfred Ndidi's effort straight to him.

United got back on level terms after the break when Alejandro Garnacho's low cross ricocheted into Joshua Zirkzee's path and the forward slotted home as the two substitutes combined.
It looked like the tie would be heading to extra time and potentially penalties with the score level as injury time began.
But United scored a dramatic late, albeit controversial, winner when Harry Maguire headed home a free-kick from Bruno Fernandes.

Replays showed that Maguire was in an offside position but because VAR is not in operation until the FA Cup's fifth round and the linesman did not raise his flag, it meant the goal stood as the Foxes exited the competition and United are in the hat for the next stage.
United will discover their opponents on Monday evening when the fifth round draw takes place.

Last night's game was being broadcast live on ITV1, with Sam Matterface commentating alongside former Arsenal defender Dixon.

And early in the second half, the commentating duo spotted a very simple error done by United defender Noussair Mazraoui.
The Morocco international, who joined United last summer from German side Bayern Munich, played a foul throw-in and was subsequently punished by referee Michael Salisbury who awarded a free-kick to Leicester.
Matterface said 'that was a foul throw' before Dixon added his thoughts on the incident - and went as far as saying that Mazraoui ought to be 'fined a week's wages' for such a simple mistake which is so rare to see in professional football and especially at Premier League level.
Dixon said: "Absolutely that was a foul throw.

"I mean he should be fined a week's wages for that! How can’t you throw a ball in? You don’t see it very often but there you go."
Despite the error last night, Mazraoui has largely been seen as a solid signing from last summer at a relatively low cost of an initial £12.8m from the Bundesliga side, and has made 36 appearances for United in all competitions since his arrival.
