A Viktoria Plzen player has revealed what he spoke about with Bruno Fernandes on the pitch after Manchester United’s 2-1 victory in the Europa League on Thursday.
Ruben Amorim’s side fell behind after an Andre Onana error, which Matej Vydra capitalised on three minutes into the second half.
But substitute Rasmus Hojlund tapped in the equaliser on 62 minutes before adding a second just two minutes from time after Fernandes threaded a perfectly weighted ball into the Dane’s path before the forward finished with aplomb.
Despite his classy performance, fans could not help but notice the United skipper engaging in conversation with opposition players after full-time.

Now, former Watford and Burnley striker Vydra has revealed what he was chatting about with the United players.
"[I spoke] with Bruno Fernandes, Mason Mount and the goalkeeping trio Tom Heaton,” he told Czech outlet ISport.
The striker was Heaton’s Burnley teammate between 2018 and 2019.
“We talked about families, in general,” he added.

“And also about the fact that they took a point from us. Bruno said that he doesn't like playing against Czech teams, or even our national team, because they say we run like crazy."
English fans may be familiar with the Czech as the player made 106 appearances in the English topflight, scoring 11 goals and registering ten assists.
But he showed his best form in the Championship, sporting impressive goalscoring stats of 65 strikes in 187 games.

From a United perspective, the victory will provide a welcome boost ahead of Sunday’s Manchester derby at the Etihad Stadium.
After last night's game, Amorim voiced how he thought his side “didn’t play very well” despite securing the win.
“We know that we need to win one game, and they fought until the end," said Amorim.
"That was important. I think we deserved the win.

“We didn’t play very well, but we fought, and we managed not to give up.
“That was a key point for me and we are in a good place in the table. It’s really important we take those two [potential play-off] games from our schedule, to find time to work.”
