Eagle-eyed Manchester United fans spotted exactly what Bruno Fernandes did after the final whistle following their 4-0 trouncing of Everton on Sunday.
Fernandes, 30, started the Premier League fixture, which was Ruben Amorim’s first home game in the league since joining United.
The former Sporting Club midfielder captained the side in what turned out to be a relatively routine victory over Sean Dyche’s side.

He played a part in United’s first and second goals of the afternoon, providing a perfectly weighted corner for Marcus Rashford’s opener.
Seven minutes later, he latched onto a loose ball following Amad dispossessing Jarred Branthwaite.
The United skipper then set up Joshua Zirkzee for the Red Devils' second goal.

But it was what he did on the pitch after the game that arguably impressed United fans the most.
A video emerged on X, which appeared to show Fernandes passionately offering Amad words of advice while pointing to various areas of the Old Trafford pitch.
Exactly what was said is unclear.
Fans on social media were quick to offer their thoughts on Fernandes.

One said: “Bruno is a hungry player; he wants more from the team. That’s my captain.”
A second added: “Not a United fan, but this is why Bruno stands out of the rest, and I really love him for this. He is a good example of a team player.”
A third commented: “He was asking Bruno why he didn't pass the ball to him for that Zirkzee's first goal, and Bruno was like he needed the goal to boost his confidence.”
With a fourth saying: “Bruno is a leader don’t let them fool you.”

While a fifth gave a slightly different take: “Clearly not watched us over the recent years have a solid year under a new manager, then they give up after a year and a half.”
Under Erik ten Hag, Fernandes played mostly as a ‘number ten’ while the likes of Casemiro, Scott McTominay (now of Napoli) and Kobbie Mainoo played a deeper role in the midfield.
But after United’s 3-2 victory against Bodo/Glimt in the Europa League last Thursday, Amorim hinted at a potential change of position for the 30-year-old.
"The tempo, sometimes we start to play, and Bruno is the right man to start with the tempo of the play,” he said when speaking to TNT Sports.

"If you see in this game, Mason Mount was always with his back to goal [playing more advanced], but Bruno is better with the goal in front,” he added.
