Rasmus Hojlund's reaction to potentially becoming the most expensive Danish player of all time ahead of his move to Manchester United speaks volumes.
Back in August, the 21-year-old forward penned a five-year deal at Old Trafford, with United splashing an initial £64 million, with £8 million in add-ons, to capture their top attacking target.
After such an impressive breakthrough season at Atalanta, Hojlund initially struggled to hit the ground running in Manchester. In fact, he failed to score in his first 14 Premier League appearances.

But the highly-rated striker has found his feet of late, scoring in five consecutive league games for Erik ten Hag's side.
"He has the resilience and the calmness, and he can perform under that stress," Ten Hag said about Hojlund this month. "He doesn't have any moment that he wants to give up."
The Dane has been praised by many for overcoming his initial struggles at Old Trafford, including Christian Mouroux, who is the sporting director of Hojjlund's first club Horsholm-Usserod Idraetsklub [HUI].

As well as giving an insight into the player's "disciplined" mentality, he spoke about Hojlund's reaction to United's big-money bid last summer.
“When the number [fee] first came, I know he was surprised," Mouroux told The Sun.
“But as soon as he had taken that in, he thought: ‘There must be a reason why someone wants to pay this for me. Someone has believed in what I am able to do, now it’s just a matter of me doing what is expected of me and what I know I can do in order to fulfil that expectation.’"

Mouroux also compared the forward to former Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner. “A good comparison can be made to the other rising superstar we had in Nicklas Bendtner," he continued.
“They are both No 9s, both very physical and also have this twinkle in the eye. They are humorous and outgoing and a bit cheeky.
“Bendtner was probably a more naturally-gifted footballer, but that perhaps made him take things more lightly and get influenced by everything that affects you from the outside when you become a superstar.
“Rasmus is completely different. Although I’m sure he will probably buy a bigger car and has a nice watch, it will not blow out of proportion.

“He has the right mentality for it. He is so disciplined. He is very aware of what hard work does for you and it’s hard work that has brought him to where he is today.”
