Manchester United have been offered the chance to open talks with Tottenham midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, according to reports.
Erik ten Hag has spent nearly £180million on new recruits this summer, adding Mason Mount from Chelsea for £60m and goalkeeper Andre Onana from Inter Milan for £47m. While 20-year-old striker Rasmus Hojliund was drafted in for a reported £72m.
The Old Trafford outfit are reportedly also on the verge of signing Fenerbahce shot-stopper Altay Bayindir to help provide cover for Onana between the sticks.

However, the Red Devils boss might not be finished there and is thought to want another midfielder before the transfer window slams shut on Friday, with Hojbjerg emerging as a potential option.
That's according to The Telegraph, who claim that United have been offered the chance to open talks with Hojbjerg, with Ange Postecoglou willing to part ways with the 28-year-old midfielder this summer.
Spanish giants Atletico Madrid had a bid worth £30million accepted earlier in the summer for the Danish international but his move collapsed after the two parties failed to agree on personal terms.

Hojbjerg also also snubbed the opportunity to join the Saudi Pro-League despite being offered a highly lucrative salary in the Middle East.
But it seems he has lost his place under new manager Postecoglou, who has preferred a pairing of Yves Bissouma and Pape Sarr in the middle of the park so far this season.
It remains to be seen whether United will take up the opportunity to open talks with the midfielder, or if they have the financial resources to launch a bid.
