Manchester United have discussed the possibility of a January move for Stuttgart striker Serhou Guirassy, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Red Devils have endured a difficult start to the new campaign and suffered yet another defeat to Newcastle in the Premier League on the weekend.
Meanwhile, Erik ten Hag's side are on the verge of a Champions League group stage exit, as the pressure builds on the United boss.

Scoring goals has been one of the main issues for the club, having netted just 16 times in 14 top-flight appearances.
Meanwhile, £72 million summer signing Rasmus Hojlund is yet to get off the mark in the competition, with Anthony Martial also struggling to deliver in front of goal.
As a result, United are considering signing a new striker in January in an attempt to turn their fortunes around.

And Guirassy, who has 17 goals in 12 games in all competitions so far this term, is one of the names on their list.
That's according to transfer expert Romano who has outlined his €17.5m release clause and revealed United's internal discussions about signing him.
Speaking on the United Stand YouTube channel, the Italian said: "He's [Guirassy] been discussed with Manchester United."
"He is a big opportunity on the market, one of the biggest because he's scored a lot of goals with Stuttgart and he is available with a release clause.

"It is not so usual to see a release clause valid in January around Europe, but in this case we can see the clause is valid in January window and is €17.5m.
"So that's why many clubs, not just in England, but also in Germany, Italy are considering a move for him because it's a big, big opportunity.
"He's been discussed with Man United. There were meetings to discuss the opportunity and to explain how the release clause works.

Romano continued: "Man United are thinking about the possibility to bring in a new striker in the January transfer window, so it's not guaranteed yet. But it is one of the things they are discussing internally.
"And Guirassy is one of the names they have on the table, so it's a possibility. But let me clarify there are multiple clubs interested in this boy.
"Stuttgart are also pushing for him to stay until the end of the season and leave in the summer. But from what I'm hearing the possibility of a January exit is really concrete."
