Manchester United are willing to triple Antoine Griezmann's wages in order to lure the Atletico Madrid star to Old Trafford, it has been claimed.
The Red Devils have endured their worst start to a campaign in the last 61 years, with Erik ten Hag's future in serious jeopardy.
A second consecutive win over Luton helped restore some dignity after they suffered a 4-3 defeat to FC Copenhagen in the Champions League, which placed a serious dent in United's European hopes.

Meanwhile, the likes of Marcus Rashford has failed to reach the heights of last season, netting just once so far this term.
New signing Rasmus Hojlund is also yet to score in 10 Premier League appearances, with both Anthony Martial and Antony also failing to deliver in a United shirt.
Jadon Sancho is another who has fallen out of favour under Ten Hag, having been banished from the first-team squad following a public fall-out with Ten Hag.

As a result, United are interested in signing Griezmann to help bolster their attacking line, according to Spanish outlet El Nacional.
The report adds that Old Trafford chiefs have already travelled to Spain to hold discussions with the player's entourage over a potential transfer.
In an attempt to convince Griezmann to join United, the Premier League side are reportedly willing to triple his Atletico Madrid wages, which could see him earn €21 million (£18.4m) per year.
That would equate to around £350,000 per-week, making him one of the top-flight's highest earners.

The publication states that Griezmann has a release clause of just €25 million at the Civitas Metropolitan Stadium, making him a reasonably affordable option bearing in mind the Frenchman's wealth of experience.
