A former Manchester United player has slammed Ruben Amorim's 'disrespectful' treatment of Marcus Rashford following his move to Aston Villa.
Rashford has officially departed Man United, having joined Villa on an initial loan deal until the end of the season.
His move to the Midlands club transpired after he was banished from the Red Devils first-team by Amorim, who hadn't played the star forward since December 12.
Amorim's treatment of Rashford doesn't sit well with Mikael Silvestre, who hit out at the Portuguese manager.

Silvestre, who played under Sir Alex Ferguson at Man United, called out Amorim's 'disrespect' of Rashford, considering he has been at the club since an early age.
"I think it's too much. I think it's disrespectful," Silvestre said on beIN Sports.
"You can say over the time he's been in charge, his communication has been difficult for him.
"Losing games, having player selection difficult, injuries."

He added: "But talking about Marcus in such a way, nine years old he joined Manchester United, I think this type of conversation, you can have it privately. In public, I don't think that does anyone any favours, the team, the owners or Marcus."
Rashford moves to Villa on a short-term deal, with the club having the option to make the transfer a permanent move.
Speaking after Arsenal's 5-1 victory over Manchester City on Sunday, Gary Neville insists the 27-year-old had to get out of Man United.

"It was an absolute must that he had to get out of Manchester United. I thought when Ruben Amorim came, we would see a clean slate but it’s got ten times worse under Amorim for Rashford than it was under Erik ten Hag," he said on the Gary Neville Podcast.
"Some of the things that have been said by his manager have been absolutely brutal and he’s only been with him for five or six weeks. It’s a stain on his character."
This season, Rashford has scored seven goals in 24 appearances across all competitions.
